  1. My daughter got this last christmas and she still loves it. This is so cool. All the kids and the teacher at her school thought it was so cool and wanted to touch it. It helped the kids during bug week to underdstand better about the parts of a spider. almost one year later and she still loves to play with it and works great.

My 7 year old daughter loved this spider that she received as a gift. The problem though was that the spider quit working about a month later. I took it apart and found two wires that were broken. I sent National Geographic an eamil, but I received no response.

This is a true boy toy!! Makes a great “furreal type” pet & is great fun for practical jokes and scare tactics. We have not experienced any mechanical problems like other people who reviewed here. Of course, people usually ony take a minute to review when they have something negative to say. I am sure thousands sold that weren’t defective. My son has had his for a few months and has had no problems.

My son was so excited to recieve this toy. It worked for about 10 minutes. He was devastated when it stopped working, so I exchanged it for a new one. Again, it stopped worked soon after he began playing with it.
