<p>Video of my 1/12 scale M1A2 abrams project, initial testing of the 12v relay-system. The non-S&#038;S Heng Long circuit board triggers the relays, relays switch 12v to each motor &#8211; so the board runs on it&#8217;s normal 7.2v while the motors run on 12v sealed lead-acid battery &#8211; giving longer running times. Currently using HL transmitter &#038; 7.2v instead of 9.6v, suprisingly no loss of speed and MUCH easier to control. 12volts will add more speed, better utilising the 2-speed (7.2v-12v).
